Quick look at what milani say about this palette:
‘Each Everyday Eyes Eyeshadow palette comes in six well-pigmented shadows and a step-by-step guide to help you build a professional look’.
Quick overview:
Pros
- Good lastage
- Easy to apply
- Comes with a handy dual ended brush
- Smooth feel
- Collection to choose from
Cons
- Hard to blend with applicator
Lastage
Knowing how long a makeup lasts on your face is important especially when you are going somewhere.
You’d want to at least know beforehand instead of say, going to a party and then finding out halfway when it’s melting off.
So I found with this eyeshadow palette the pigments stayed put for around 7- 7 and a half hours with setting powder as well as priming beforehand.
I’m assuming without setting it or priming, it would be quite less maybe just about 6 hours.
Shades
There are around 7 different collections of the everyday palette which all consist of various shades. In each collection you get 6 colours.
You can purchase purple’s, neutrals, one with a few brights and a bunch more. A few of them do have shimmer to them as they are a little metallic.
Blendability
What I like about the formula of these eyeshadows is that they are so smooth and a little creamy which I think is what makes them even more blendable.
I think you can tell how easy they are to blend judging by what I’ve just said.
I used the dual ended brush which it came with to help blend. At first, it was a little hard to fuse but after a few dabs the colours infused well.
I also used a small eyeshadow brush and found it to be much easier to blend with.
Application
You can use the dual ended brush that is provided with, it does apply pretty good when compared to other brushes that usually come packed with.
Application is much easier than the actual blending process with this brush.
You can use the brush to complete a whole eye look but I prefer using the separate eye brushes, it’s much quicker and smooth.
So overall I would rate the milani everyday eyeshadow palette an 8/10! I really like it’s lastage, and how smooth and creamy the formula is which makes it easy to blend too!

Thank you for your post. I’ve never been a fan of eyeshadow. I don’t like the way it looks on me. Or, maybe I’ve been applying it incorrectly or picking the wrong shades/colors? I’m so glad your products are cruelty free. Nothing bothers me more than knowing animals suffer for the sake of a human’s pleasure. You speak of the blendability of the creamy eye shadows. Does it matter if the eyeshadow is a powder or a cream – in terms of it drying my eyes or showing visible lines? Thanks for your post.

Hey Shalisha thanks for the comment!
Right, vegan and cruelty-free is the way to be!
It’s just that powder tends to settle in lines more than a cream would as it it drier, however if you moisturise or prime before, that usually helps out the drying as well as minimise settling into lines.
