Drunk elephant slaai make-up melting butter

The drunk elephant slaai make-up melting butter is a little different to your usual skin cleansers, in the sense that you use it on a dry face to remove excess oil, grime and makeup, even waterproof formulas!Best sensitive eye makeup remover

The dry formula transforms into a milky texture once it’s hit with water, which leaves behind a ‘dewy glow’.

The butter itself is formulated using ‘anti oxidant rich fruit extract and oil’ which all ensures your skin is left cleansed and moisturized without being irritated.

The melting butter is free from silicones and fragrances. It’s therefore said to be suitable for sensitive eyes.

Garnier state this is a ‘simple and natural eye make up remover’ which efficiently vanishes junk whilst ‘leaving no greasy feel or residue’.

Water resistant products are no problem either! As well as removing makeup this 2 in 1 also cares for your lashes by leaving a protective layer on them which results in ‘visibly less eyelashes on the cotton pad’.

Results are seen in 4 weeks!

No rubbing is required and it’s suitable for sensitive skin and gentle on your beautiful peepers!

This was a perfect article for me! Since I am fare skinned I find I’m very sensitive to a lot of products and my face will break out. I’m always looks for new products that aren’t so harsh on my skin. Never thought to look into Vegan Products until today, now I’m very excited to try it out. Thank you for your very informative article !

Hey page thanks for the comment!

As for sensitive skin, which I too possess, I find it’s better to look for fragrance free products or ones that are full of natural ingredients! Usually makeup products are labelled if they are catered for is delicate skin peeps!

  • Cathy

Simple is my eye makeup remover of choice because their formulas are gentle to the skin. You know when an ingredient isn’t right; it makes your eyes tear up. I don’t get that with Simple. In fact, the other range like facial cleansers and eye cream are also great for my skin. There were fewer pimple popouts compared to other brands I’ve used in the past.

    • Sariyah

Hey Cathy thanks for stopping by!

Simple I think is a great brand for sensitive skin peeps to and what’s more is it’s super affordable too!

  • Daniel Tshiyole

Wow, I did not know that you could get vegan products for makeup removers. What makes it different from a normal makeup remover? I believe that my mom and sister are not aware of this product. I am sure they will be excited to try it out so I will refer this article to them and be sure to let you know what they think about it

    • Sariyah

Hey Daniel, guess you learn something new everyday!

The differences you ask? Well vegan makeup removers do not contain any ingredients deprived from animals whereas other makeup remover have the possibility of having animal by products such as crushed beetles, fish scales etc.

  • Vanessa

I like the idea that your suggested eye makeup removers are free from silicone but especially the fragrances as well. I don’t know about you but some fragrances can be stifling, so I appreciate the no fragrance aspect of it. I’ve tried the Simple brand moisturizer but not their eye makeup remover. From what you’ve described, it looks pretty good.

I also tried the Garnier, which was good too but I think I definitely want to try the Camomile gentle eye makeup remover. Since I am someone with sensitive skin, I definitely don’t want my skin to be dry after using any makeup remover. Do you have any recommendations regarding a complimentary moisturizer for my choice of eye makeup remover?

    • Sariyah

Hey Vanessa thanks for the comment!

Simple is a great makeup remover especially for sensitive skin peeps!

Camomile is a great ingredient to add to any formulas, it’s gentle.as for moisturizes for sensitive skin I would recommend the aventhra moisturiser M2 by face theory. It’s made for dry and sensitive skin with oatmeal, cocoa butter and hyaluronic acid!

You are indeed right. The eye is the most sensitive organ in our body. We must use a product that does not harm the eyes. My girlfriend sometimes uses makeup. I think this makeup remover will be very important for her. Because these are good for the skin. I will definitely send this to my girlfriend. Thank you very much for this kind of post and keep posting like this.

Thank you so much for this review over Best sensitive eye makeup remover -Vegan formulated.  To be honest, the one I think might be the best is the Simple kind to skin eye make up remover.  I love how this one is odorless and colorless, and it takes those oils out.  Thank you for talking about these and showing them!

    • Sariyah

Hey thanks a lot Jessie for the comment!

Your welcome! I’m glad you prefer the simple kind to skin makeup remover as it’s also my favourite one currently as well! It’s simple yet effective!

  • Hawumba

Wow!! Sariyah,  this was another review of the best sensitive eye makeup removers, to relax while reading. I even remained confused about what I can choose, had I been a makeup user! Lo! until I came across these two: a) “Simple kind to skin eye make-up remover, which is described as a kind-to-skin-eye-makeup remover which, is not only free from color and artificial perfume, but also from harsh chemicals. Moreover, its 100% recyclable packaging makes it only plant friendly, but also the environment; and b) The body shop camomile gentle eye makeup remover, which is described to be tough on makeup but kind to your delicate skin, because while it melts makeup from lashes and lids, at the same time it soothes the skin too. Thank you so much for this post.

  • Remote Vagabond

I not only appreciate that your suggested eye makeup removers are free from silicone, but I also value that they’re unscented. My skin is quite sensitive, and especially makeup removers that are too perfumed can create quite some irritation. The fact that it is vegan, too, makes it even better. I really like Simple as a great makeup remover, mainly because it contains camomile.

  • angelce903

I also have sensitive eyes, and they can’t stand every makeup removers. For many years, I relied on some cleansing wipes because I didn’t trust the drugstore removers. But one day, I tried the GArnier one (I live in France and it’s sold in supermarkets). And I was more than satisfied. Unfortunately, I don’t know the other brands but I 100% agree with you on the Garnier make up remover!

    • Sariyah

Hey Angelce thanks for stopping by!

Oh the struggles of sensitive skin plus eyes! Glad garnier had a vegan option otherwise we would be trying out quite a few irritating skin products to find a suitable option!

      Have a great day!
