I’ve tried milk makeup’s products in the past and I’d like to say I have been having a somewhat positive experience. Because of this combined with the hype, coming from my friends around the milk makeup flex concealer, I decided to go ahead and purchase this concealer.
When I had bought it I was desperately hoping from inside that this concealer would work for me mainly because it was going to be a waste of money as I don’t really wear concealers often. So this had to impress me!
If you’d like to know how this experience went then continue reading as I go through my favourite aspects and the so great side.
Let’s start with what milk makeup say about their concealer:
The milk makeup’s flex concealer provides you with a flawless finish that doesn’t budge, fused with hi-tech and natural ingredients.
It’s formula can cover many imperfections starting from blemishes to even scarring with the medium to full coverage. It’s suitable for a range of skin tones with its 24 shade range.

Quick overview:
Pros
- Blending is easy
- Nice creamy formula
- Lightweight
- Lastage is good once you set it
Cons
- Though the shade range is good, there’s limited shades with cool undertones.
Shade selection
Milk makeups concealer has a decent shade range. They have a cool number of 24 shades. Ranging from porcelain, which is their fairest shade with neutral undertones to rich which is a deep shade with neutral undertones too.
Although I am satisfied with the shades available, I feel like there are more warm and neutral tones than cool pink undertones.
This isn’t so great for me (and fellow cool peeps) as I lean more towards the cool side so picking the right shade can be hard for those who are in the cool team like me.
Formula (blendability, coverage)
Using the doe applicator it comes with, I dotted under my eyes, mainly in the bottom corner of my eyes, where I have a little darkness.
And then blended out using a small concealer brush, I don’t tend to use my fingers as much because it encourages the oil to come out from my combination skin.
Blending overall was simple and easy also it did a great job in covering the redness just under my eye so the coverage was good too!
The “disguise revealing dark circles” phrase is certainly a pass from me!
As for the formula texture, it’s of a creamy consistency that isn’t too watery neither too stiff, just right!
Lightweight or heavyweight?
Lightweight or heavyweight? I feel like I’m in a boxing ring! But I’m not so back to the concealer.
Right before I was going to try this I wasn’t too sure in what to expect as milk didn’t state anything about the heaviness on the skin so I went in with a neutral belief, I mean this is a medium to full coverage concealer so maybe a little weight wasn’t going to shock me.
Anyways, after wearing this concealer around for a bit, I didn’t feel any major heaviness. It was light and didn’t suffocate my skin which I’m really happy about as I usually stick to light coverages or no concealer mainly to the tightness.
Lastage was pretty good with the setting powder though. It stayed out for most of the day however without setting powder, towards the end it started to melt a little.
So if you want the full stay potential then setting is a must with this product.
Ingredients
Just thought I might add this in, I really like the ingredients especially the chamomile which I think is the reason why my redness was less visible even a while after wearing it.
This concealer is also infused with blue lotus, quite new to me, which is used to help moisture.
The product is also supposed to be flexible and hide away with your skin thanks to the marshmallow root extract. It’s also ment to stop cakiness and no creasing, which I can tell you I didn’t experience.
So overall I did like the concealer and would consider buying it if it was a little cheaper as I don’t use concealers much.
Another thing was the shade range it didn’t have the cool undertone which would match my skin tone best.

I only use concealers on my eye-bags when I video-record songs. And I’m choosy about the consistency. I’m glad to note that this Milk makeup flex concealer has no heaviness after-effect, and it has 24 shades to choose from. I am allergic to powder so I prefer to use concealer that does not need a powder to pack it.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Have a great day.

You are welcome chuna!
One of the great things about the milk makeup flex concealer is the wide shade range, increasing the chances of you picking the correct shade.
Are you referring to setting powders? There are setting sprays available which work exactly the same way as powders do, just to let you know.

I guess I’m an oddity as a woman who doesn’t wear any makeup at all, haha. Though concealers would probably help with the bags I constantly have under my eyes from less than optimal sleep. Milk is an interesting brand name and not one I would expect for makeup of all things, haha.

When I first heard milk, I never thought it would be a makeup brand.
It’s okay, I never used to wear makeup and sometimes still don’t, do what makes you comfortable!

Hi Sariyah, thanks for your post on vegan makeup. I have recently been learning about the vegan way of life and do find it fascinating. I also think harming innocent animals is cruel. It is good that you are introducing us to another side of makeup. Do you think that this Milk concealer does a good job at what it is supposed to do. After losing too much sleep is is always nice to have a good alternative to fall back on.

Hey Carolyn thanks for stopping by! Cruelty-free is surely the way to be!
I believe milk makeup flex concealer is a great option if you are looking for a product which doesn’t weigh down on your skin even with full coverage. It surely does well in most aspects!

Although I do not wear makeup, I know a thing or two mainly because of my mom and sister. I know they use concealers so I know the importance of it, especially finding the right shade for your skin. This seems like a pretty interesting concealer. I will recommend this article to them.

Hey Daniel thanks for stopping by!
You are right, finding the correct shade is definitely important, that’s what makes it look natural! If they want a medium to full coverage foundation that doesn’t feel to heavy then this would be an ideal option!

I love makeup, especially if it is good for my skin. I never heard of this product, but I do use concealers. The concealers I have found don’t cover the way I need them to. However, they also usually don’t have the shade I require. This milk concealers seem like something that I need to check out. Not only does it have coverage but seems like it has my shade as well. I am glad this milk concealer isn’t heavy like most I find. Thanks for the article and I will for sure check out the product as well.

I want to try this concealer as it reminds me of the Vegan make-up concept. We are used to looking into the components in the label for the big names and ignoring the fact that make-ups nowadays involve too many chemical compounds. The most desirable advantage for this product is the 24 shades, which give me more choice to wear makeup for different events.
Sariyah
Hey QuYang thanks for stopping by! That’s so true, some makeup are formulated with ingredients which aggravate our skins and we don’t even realise. Usually vegan products tend to be a little more gentle on the skin which is another advantage of using these type of makeup products!

Thank you very much for this valuable post about the detailed flex concealer. I am not very interested in these things. But I have seen my sister apply concealer. I think this brand is very good. Because this is a nose creamy formula. I will definitely send this post to her. I think this post will be very important to her. Keep posting valuable reviews like this.
